Thomas Hicks Obituary
Thomas C. Hicks VIRGINIA BEACH - Thomas Christopher Hicks, 22, quietly left us on the evening of Sept. 17, 2008. He was born Sept. 8, 1986, in Chesapeake, the son of Thomas R. Hicks Jr. and Kimberly W. Hicks. Thomas enjoyed life to the fullest, challenging friends to paintball battles, car racing with his father, watching Redskins football or just hanging with his friends. He was someone who everyone loved to be around and he will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him. Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Kimberly W. Hicks of Virginia Beach; father, Thomas R. Hicks Jr. and wife Michelle of Virginia Beach; half brothers, Devin Hicks of Virginia Beach and Ethan Vaughn of Michigan; stepsister, Sara Ayers of Virginia Beach; maternal grandparents, Bill and Carolyn Woodhouse of Tennessee; paternal grandparents, Tom and Irene Hicks of Florida; great-grandmother, Helen Parker of Tennessee; and other loving relatives. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. in Kellum Funeral Home, Rosewood Chapel. A funeral will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home with burial to follow in Rosewood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Susan G. Komen For the Cure, 5005 LBJ Freeway, Suite 250, Dallas, TX 75244 in Thomas' name. You may offer condolences to the family at www.mem.com.

dear hicks family, my name is kendall and i was a close friend of thomas' tho i never got a chance to meet his family or other close friends my heart goes out to you. I just found out today of his passing, and my heart really goes out to everyone whose known him for years. I was only in thomas' life for a short time but he meant alot to me, and i'm ver very sorry for your loss
