Allen Mills Obituary
Allen J. Mills VIRGINIA BEACH - Allen John Mills, 79, passed away Sept. 17, 2008, after a long illness. He found great joy in socializing and helping at Ascension Catholic Church. He was an easy-going man who always had a positive outlook on life. Allen was known for his love of animals and golf. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Joan Mills; one son, David Allen Mills and wife Rania; two daughters, Diana Louise Mills and Barbara Ann Mills and husband Richard Calhoun, all of Virginia Beach; his father, John; and three sisters, Doris Neiderlander, Jean Milchak and Leona Henks. A celebration of Allen's life will be held at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 6329 Virginia Beach Blvd., Norfolk, Tuesday at 11 a.m. officiated by Father Jim Parke. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.woodlawngroup.com.
