Virginia Hamm Obituary
Virginia Ann Hamm NORFOLK - Virginia Ann "Ginny" Hamm, 47, of the 3400 block of Chesapeake Blvd., passed away Sept. 21, 2008. Born in New York, Virginia was the widow of Donnie James Hamm and is survived by her mother, Grace E. Martino-Strid and stepfather Burton Strid; two sons, David Martino and wife Ashton and Jon Hamm; daughter, Apryl Hamm; brother, Mark Martino and wife Cindy; two grandchildren, David Martino Jr. and Melissa Hamm; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Good Shepherd Episcopal Church with the Rev. Robert Davenport and the Rev. Richard Bridgford officiating. Burial will be at a later date in New York. The family will receive friends at Good Shepherd Episcopal Church today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Virginia Oncology Association, 5900 Lake Wright Drive, Norfolk, VA 23502 or Norfolk Botanical Garden. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.

I felt a real connection to Virginia. She was a loving, caring and beautiful individual. Wednesday nights will not be the same without her. She was truely an angel. My prayers are with her and her family at this difficult time.
