Kevin Grimstead Obituary
Kevin L. Grimstead WICHITA, Kan. - U.S. Marine Corps Gunnery Sgt. Kevin L. Grimstead, 32, died Sept. 23, 2008. He is survived by his wife, Tangie; sons, Trevor and Adrian; parents, Joe and Debbie Gattenby of Wichita; brothers, Steve Grimstead and Devin (Melissa) Gattenby, both of Wichita, and Duke Grimstead Jr. and Josh Grimstead, both of Asheboro, N.C.; grandparents, Jeanette Wilkerson, Lank and Barbara Malbone, all of Virginia Beach, Earl Gattenby of Blocker, Okla., Morris and Ann Wade of Krebs, Okla.; wife's parents, Bill and Joan Boyd of Stacy, N.C.; brother-in-law, Timmy (Janie) Elam of Stacy, N.C.; sisters-in-law, Tammy (Drew) Barham of Marion, Iowa, and Sarah (Steven) Browning of Beaufort, N.C.; and nine nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Trevor and Adrian Grimstead Scholarship Fund, c/o Glenville Bible Baptist Church, 4604 S. Seneca, Wichita, KS 67217. A visitation with family will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Broadway Mortuary. The funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Glenville Bible Baptist Church. Services by Broadway Mortuary.
