Donna Lavin Obituary
Donna Joyce Lavin CHESAPEAKE - Donna Joyce Lavin passed away Sept. 24, 2008, at home with her family by her side. She was 75. Born in Mattoon, Ill., Feb. 14, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Boyd and Ella Raley and the widow of Patrick Lavin. She retired from Naval Sea Support Center Atlantic in 1993 after many years of service. She is survived by her daughter, Jeanne Priest and husband Dannis of Chesapeake; son, Robert Ellis and wife JoAnne of Portsmouth; grandchildren, Justin Priest, Carrie Priest Michalski, Christopher Ellis and Tiffany Ellis; four great- grandchildren; sister, Jeanne Jennings of Chesapeake; and her loving car, Toby. The family will receive friends at her home, 1704 Wild Duck Crossing, Chesapeake, Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. Cremation is being handled by Cremation Society of Virginia. Services will be private.
