Lawrence Ulik Obituary


Lawrence A. Ulik CHESAPEAKE - Lawrence Allen "Larry" Ulik, 49, of the 2100 block of Hickory Forest Drive, passed away Sept. 24, 2008. Born May 26, 1959, in Roswell, N.M., he was the son of Delores Motl Ulik and the late Clarence E. Ulik. Larry was a gifted leader. In earlier years, he was an athlete, student president and always looked for ways to do things better. These attributes carried him through his adult life professionally, as a husband and father. His greatest joy was his family, especially his wife and daughters. His life's work was devoted to providing for his family and their wellbeing. Professionally, Larry worked hard for others and treating everyone like his own family. He received great joy in do for others. Larry's life had a positive impact on each life he touched. Survivors include his wife, Patricia Lynn Ulik; two daughters, Tiffany Ann Everson and husband Jason of Dallas and Stephanie Dawn Singles and husband Brandon also of Dallas; two brothers, Chuck Ulik and wife Boni and Danny Ulik; four sisters, Teresa Billings and husband Gary, Karen Carlin and husband Ray, Donna Ulik and Pat Daley; as well as several nieces and nephews. A funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Great Bridge Chapel of Oman Funeral Home & Crematory, 653 Cedar Road, Chesapeake. The viewing will begin today with the family receiving friends from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Friends are also invited to send condolences and sign the online guestbook at www.omanfh.com.
