Joseph Bryant Obituary
Joey D. Bryant WILLIAMSTON - Joseph Daniel "Joey" Bryant, 38, died Sept. 24, 2008. Born in Ahoskie, and reared in Boykins, Va., he was a building construction supervisor and a member of Berean Baptist Church. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Sonja Sullivan Bryant; daughter, Amber Lynn Bryant; son, Dustin Daniel Bryant; his father, James Walter Bryant Jr. of Williamston; his mother, Barbara Johnson Turner of Conway; five sisters, Deborah Kay Banks of Williamston, Crystal Jean Ingalls of Barco, Angel Beth Christopher of Washington, Jeannie Dawn Christopher of Portsmouth and Carol "Poochie" Jones of Emporia, Va.; brother, Walter Erwin "Bubba" Bryant of Greenville; three nieces, Amanda Dawn Ingalls, Taylor Christopher and Kristina Harris; and nine nephews, Billy, Thomas and Tony Bryant, Shane Donnelly, R.J. and Alex Diaz, Austin Christopher, Leon Turner and Daniel Walton. Joey was predeceased by a sister, Carol Bryant. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Wright Funeral Home, Boykins, with the Rev. Charles Alvis officiating. Internment will follow in Beechwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home. www.wrightfuneralhome.org.
