I knew Ray from our school days in Newton Park (near the Ford Plant) in Norfolk. I continued to see him, on occassion, through his years at his restaurant. I recently ran into Ray Jr. at his seafood location, on Indian River Road.
I am truly sorry to hear of his passing and offer my sincerest sympathy to his family.
