He loved God, life and his family and will be greatly missed. Survivors include his wife, Nancy J. Medlin; three daughters, Bonnie Whitehurst (David) of Chesapeake, Juli Wadsworth (Fred) of Columbia, S.C., and Linda Antezana (Victor) of Corapeake, N.C.; three grandchildren, Fred, Bonnie and Josie Wadsworth; mother, Beulah Hahn Medlin of Portsmouth; and two brothers, Timothy Medlin (Sonya) of Portsmouth and Roger Medlin (Mary Ann) of Chesapeake. A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday in West Park Church of Christ by Keith Lewis. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, today from 5 to 7 p.m. The family wishes to thank Dr. Burton Alexander and his staff at Virginia Oncology for eight years of wonderful care. A special thank you to Val and the people of Chesapeake Home Care Services for their loving attention to Larry in his last months.
