Johnny Byrd Obituary
Johnny D. Byrd NORFOLK - Johnny David Byrd, 93, went to be with the Lord Oct. 3, 2008. He was a member of the Virginia Beach Church of God of Prophecy and a member of the Gospelaires Quartet. He is survived by a sister, Martha Barbara Goodnight of Virginia Beach. The visitation will be held at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 5792 Greenwich Road, Virginia Beach, Monday, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. A funeral will be held in the funeral home Tuesday at 11 a.m. with burial to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.altmeyer.com.

May God bless you and be with you during these times of sorrow. Johnny was a loving man who had a way of making people smile. I will remember him and the joy he brought me during my childhood.
