Franklin Harrision Obituary

Franklin Lee Harrison VIRGINIA BEACH - Our loving son and brother, Franklin Lee Harrison was born April 1, 1991, and was only 17 when he left this earth Oct. 5, 2008. Franklin was a junior at Kellam High School. He was a loving teenager whose brown eyes sparkled when he smiled. His colorful imagination gave him a quick sense of humor which was wisely tailored to the person he knew he was about to make laugh. His kindness and respect for others was always present. He enjoyed art, reading and music. He loves his friends, teasing his sister and loving his family. God gave us a beautiful gift when he created Franklin. Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Graham F. and Joann J. Harrison; his sister, Shannon Holmes and husband Wesley; nieces, Sarah, Kayla and Lexi; his grandparents, Clabon and Shelby Harrison; his aunt and uncles, Eva and Joel Wolf, Bernard and Anita Brzostek and Debra Cake; cousins, Tiffany and Ricky Cake; as well as extended family and friends. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday in Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home, 601 N. Witchduck Road, Virginia Beach. Donations will be accepted by SunTrust to the Franklin Harrison Memorial Fund. You may visit Franklin's memorial at www.mem.com and send tributes to the family.

Franklin – a freckled little boy, who became the very interesting young man, we knew too briefly. You leave behind grief for all those heartbroken by your departure, as well for the many others you would have delighted. Prayers for and love to the family; our thoughts are with you all.

Mr. and Mrs. Harrison,

My heart goes out to you as parents. They are no words I can really say.
There is no second guess; what if, I should have. There are not any books to help us along the way.We all raise our children the best way we know how. We do what we can, and we do what we think is right.
That is all we can do.

You will always be in my heart,
Sherry Quiban
