Buddy Kneisley Obituary


Buddy N. Kneisley VIRGINIA BEACH - Buddy Norman Kneisley, 76, passed away Oct. 9, 2008, in his home. A native of Marion, Ohio, he was the son of the late Frank and Nellie Kneisley. He was a retired self-employed contractor. He was an Army veteran of Korea and was a Purple Heart recipient. He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Sharon Evans Kneisley; daughter, Tina P. Kneisley Dulong of Virginia Beach; sister, Colleen Hempstead of Caledonia, Ohio; two brothers, Douglas Kneisley and James Kneisley, both of Ohio; and two grandchildren, Eva Morgan Dulong and Gabriel Kneisley Dulong, both of Virginia Beach. A funeral will be conducted Sunday at 4 p.m. in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, with the Rev. Dr. William Trexler officiating. The burial will be private. Memorials, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2730 Ellsmere Ave., Norfolk, VA 23513. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
