Megan Grey Obituary

Megan Elizabeth Grey NORFOLK - Megan Elizabeth Grey, 28, of the 1300 block Kempsville Road, died Oct. 10, 2008. Megan was born in Norfolk. Although Megan was a child with special needs, she also was a child with many special talents. She was quick with a smile, eager to please and loved attention. She was the gleam in her father's eye and the song in her mother's heart. Megan is survived by her parents, Gayle M. and Michael E. Grey of Virginia Beach; her brother, Kevin and his wife Amy and their daughters, Kailey and Lexie of Chesapeake; and her grandfather, Joseph C. Grey Jr. and his wife Irene of Charlotte, N.C.; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. Megan had the great fortune to spend 10 idyllic years at the Holiday House of Portsmouth where the staff and residents have always been thought of as family. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2008, at 5:30 p.m. in St. Pius X Catholic Church, 7800 Halprin Drive, Norfolk. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the Holiday House of Portsmouth Inc.
