Catherine Layden Obituary
Catherine P. Layden NORFOLK - Catherine Perry Layden, 78, went home to be with the Lord Oct. 24, 2008. She was born in Hertford, N.C., to the late Clinton Augustus Perry and Viola Jolliff. She was predeceased by her husband, Lester Layden Sr. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Angela Butler and husband Henry and Cynthia Price; son, Lester Layden Jr.; brother, Charles Perry; grandchildren, Sheri, Trisha and Eric; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Twiford's Colonial Chapel, Chesapeake. Burial to follow services at Chesapeake Memorial Gardens with Pastor David Cobb officiating. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.twifordfh.com.
