Constance LaPlante Obituary
Constance T. LaPlante VIRGINIA BEACH - Constance "Connie" Tredway LaPlante passed away Oct. 17, 2008, after a short illness. Ms. LaPlante was born in Washington, D.C., to Agnes and William Tredway. She grew up in Milledgeville, Ga., and attended Georgia State College for Women High School and Auburn University. Ms. LaPlante served in the U.S. Navy Waves and later toured the world with her husband Robert during his Navy career. She was a program administrator with American Systems Corporation beginning in 1980 in Crystal City and Norfolk, as well as New London, Conn. She is survived by her brother, Robert Tredway, his wife Anne; and sisters, Pam Thornton and Pat Christian. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert and son, Chuck. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1396 Lynnhaven Parkway, Virginia Beach.
