John A. Richardson VIRGINIA BEACH - John A. Richardson, 43, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly Nov. 5, 2008. He will be sorely missed by his parents, John F. and Jeanne Richardson; siblings, Frederic, Nathalie, Stephanie, Christopher and Melanie; nephews, Dwight, Shawn, Steven Christopher and Patrick; nieces, Clarisse, Madelaine and Abigail; and a host of other family members and friends. John was most recently employed as an associate at Home Depot, where he loved and enjoyed all those he worked for and with. The family will receive family and friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, N. Great Neck Road, Virginia Beach, Saturday from 4 to 6 p.m. A funeral will be conducted Sunday at 11 a.m. in Princess Anne Memorial Park, N. Great Neck Road, Virginia Beach. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.

A Reminiscence

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
