Jackie Richards Obituary
Jackie M. Richards PORTSMOUTH - Jackie Melton Richards, 92, of California Avenue, passed away Nov. 6, 2008 in her residence. Jackie was born Sept. 14, 1916 in Cedar Key, Fla. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and volunteered for the Retired Seniors and Volunteer Program of Portsmouth for 10 years. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Nancy L. Richards and son, Keith E. Richards. A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by the Rev. Thomas Becker. Burial will follow in Olive Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 4 to 5 p.m. www.SturtevantFuneralHome.com.
