Hazel Pulley Obituary


Hazel D. Pulley FRANKLIN - Hazel Dundalow Pulley, 94, widow of Leslie Wadsworth Pulley Sr., died Nov. 7, 2008. She was a native of Southampton County and a daughter of the late Thomas and Fannie Bunch Dundalow. Mrs. Pulley was a longtime Franklin baby sitter and a member of Franklin Congregational Christian church. Left to cherish her memory are her son, Leslie W. Pulley Jr. and wife Pearl of Franklin; four grandchildren, Terry P. Butts (Junior), Tony L. Pulley Sr. (Gerri), Tammy P. Beale, all of Franklin and Tilden L. Pulley (Beth) of Sedley; nine great-grandchildren, Crystal H. Boyce (Chris), Tony L. Pulley Jr., (Casie), Amy N. Hollowell, Brandy R. Pulley, Chad A. Beale, Wade L. Beale, Joshua J. Beale, Jordan L. Pulley and Michaela A. Pulley; three great-great-grandchildren, Christopher B. Dunlow, Justis L. Boyce and Amelia T. Pulley; and a host of nieces and nephews. The funeral will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. in Wright Funeral Home with the Rev. James H. Hyatt officiating. Interment will follow in Southampton Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home and other times at the home of Pearl and Leslie Pulley, 205 Fairview Drive. Memorials may be made to the Franklin Congregational Christian Church. Condolences may be offered at www.wrightfuneralhome.org.
