Jack Faulkner Obituary


Jack Ray Faulkner CHESAPEAKE - Jack Ray Faulkner, 80, passed away Nov. 14, 2008, in Sentara Leigh Hospital. A native of Bluefield, W.Va., he was the son of the late William and Mamie Faulkner. He retired from Kimnach Ford as an automotive technician after 45 years of service. He was a member of Park Place Baptist Church and was an Army veteran. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Dimple Burton Faulkner; two sons, Donnie Faulkner and wife Cathy and Jerry Faulkner; a daughter, Sharon Faulkner Roy and husband William; and a sister, Virginia Morehead. He was the proud grandfather of six and great-grandfather of seven. He was predeceased by his three brothers, William Jr., Robert and Joe. A funeral will be conducted Monday at 11 a.m. in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, with Dr. Terry Spencer officiating. The family will receive friends in the funeral home Sunday from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
