Rosa Prazeres Obituary
Rosa Dos Prazeres VIRGINIA BEACH - Rosa Dos Prazeres, 99, passed away Nov. 15, 2008. Mrs. Prazeres was born in Portugal to the late Manuel Sebastiao and Maria Prazeres. She was the widow of Mario Da Silva Parente and had lived in Virginia Beach since 1998. Survivors include her son, Tony Parente and his wife Ana of Fremont, Calif.; her daughter, Maria Manning and her husband Gary of Virginia Beach; and four grandchildren, Cathy Siler and her husband Brian of Fremont and Ray, Huston and Sara Manning, all of Virginia Beach. A Mass of the Resurrection will be conducted Monday at 7:30 p.m. in St. John's the Apostle Catholic Church, 1968 Sandbridge Road, Virginia Beach, by Father J. Morton Biber. Burial will take place in California. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.hdoliver.com.
