William Chadwick Obituary


William E. Chadwick CHESAPEAKE - William Edward Chadwick, 80, died Nov. 15, 2008. Mr. Chadwick was born in Red Bank, N.J., to the late William J. and Sylvia Lamberson Chadwick. He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict. Mr. Chadwick retired from Red Bank Tire following 37 years of service, was a volunteer fireman for 47 years with River Plaza Hose Company No. 1 and a member of Red Bank Salvation Army Corps. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 55 years, Eunice Ellen Chadwick; daughter, Ellen R. Trammell and husband Jack of Cape Coral, Fla.; sons, John Chadwick and wife Joyce of Aberdeen, N.J., Paul Chadwick and wife Joann of Chesapeake, Marc Chadwick and wife Terri of Norfolk; sister, Marjorie Burns and husband Jack of Brunswick, Ohio; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. A funeral will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad St., Red Bank, NJ 07701. Burial will follow in Monmouth Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to River Plaza Hose Company No. 1, c/o Memorials, 26 Applegate St., Red Bank, NJ 07701 or Red Bank Salvation Army c/o Memorials, P.O. Box 875, Red Bank, NJ 07701.
