June Nifong Obituary
June W. Nifong NORFOLK - June Weaver Nifong, 90, passed away Nov. 25, 2008, in Heritage Hall in Virginia Beach. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert William Nifong, a retired Norfolk City firefighter. Left to cherish her memory are a son, Michael D. Nifong and his wife Mary; two daughters, Anne E. Bell and husband Bill and Sandra N. Miller and husband Jim; a sister, Waneta W. Towell. She will also be greatly missed by her eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren as well as other family members and friends. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Ocean View Presbyterian Church, 9200 Tidewater Drive, Norfolk, where June was an active member for nearly 70 years.
