Betty Massie Obituary


Betty Lou Massie CHESAPEAKE - Betty Lou Massie passed away Nov. 30, 2008, in her home. A native of Amherst County, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Will and Mattie Massie. She retired from civil service as an office clerk at the Naval Air Station. She is survived by her two sisters, Mildred M. Enga and husband Gordon and Hazel M. Brandon, both of Chesapeake and several cousins. There will be no viewing at the funeral home. A graveside service will be conducted Thursday at 1 p.m. in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens with Pastor Richard Gates officiating. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel, is handling the arrangements.
