Don Eubank Obituary


Don P. Eubank KILL DEVIL HILLS - In loving memory of Don Preston Eubank, a wonderful husband, and a wonderful father. Don Preston Eubank, 65, died Dec. 1, 2008, in an Elizabeth City hospital. Mr. Eubank, born in Lynchburg, Va., was a retired director of Transportation for the Dept. of Defense and was a Shriner. He was the son of Edith Price Howell of Nags Head, N.C., and the late Cabel Griffith Eubank. Besides his mother, Mr. Eubank is survived by his wife, Mercedita PeBenito Eubank of the residence; four daughters, Donna Kestner, Morning Gutierrez, Virginia Duncan and Zaida Yokoyama; and one grandchild, Cody Kestner. A memorial service will be held in Twiford's Colonial Chapel, Chesapeake, Friday at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society of the U.S., 2100 L St., NW, Washington, DC 20037. Twiford's Colony Chapel, Manteo, is assisting the family with arrangements. Visit www.twifordfh.com to sign the online register.
