Mardane McLemore
December 9, 2008
I am Mardane McLemore at HRSD. I worked with Carl during his tenure at HRSD. I was always struck by his kindness, his intelligence, professionalism and good judgement. He was a mentor to many here at HRSD and I still frequently think back on things he did or said. He talked often of his children and grandchildren and I know he loved them very much. I remember him talking about the stained glass business and Michaels adventures (or misadventures) with medical school and pursuing a doctorate. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. He was a good man.

Julie, I am so sorry to learn of the recent death of your father. What a fantastic gentleman. I remember his kindness and love for your mother when caring for her. He used to speak of you and your brother often. Our thoughts and prayers with you all.
