Craig Pendleton Obituary


Craig H. Pendleton Sr. HAMPTON - Craig Howell Pendleton Sr., 54, passed away Dec. 2, 2008. He was a native of Portsmouth and was the son of the late James A. Pendleton Sr. He is survived by his two sons, Craig H. Pendleton Jr. and Charles T. Pendleton; his mother, Elease Pendleton; a sister, Debra Franklin; a brother, James A. Pendleton Jr.; and former wife and mother of his children, Jan McMillan. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens, Suffolk. The family will receive friends in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, Friday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made at any Wachovia Bank to the Craig H. Pendleton Sr. Memorial Fund. www.SturtevantFuneralHome.com.

Please accept my sincere condolences at Craigs' passing. I have known Craig since 1983 and worked with him for many of those years. He and I worked together last in Wisconsin on the LCS program. I wish that I could be there for his services but I am presently in Mississippi. Once again, I am so sorry to hear that he is gone. But, he will never be fogotten.

I remember Craig from Rosenblatt when I was employed there. He was always pleasent and wanted to share his happy thoughts of his sons. He was a proud father. I know there is a special place in heaven for him.
