Shirley Holland Obituary
Shirley W. Holland VIRGINIA BEACH - Shirley Wilmont Holland, 89, passed away Dec. 2, 2008. A native of Norfolk, he was a career employee of C&P Telephone Co. He was also a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of more than 50 years, Shirley T. Holland. They were both active members of First Baptist Church of Norfolk. Shirley is survived by his daughter, Tammy Holland Dunn and his granddaughters, Jordan Rae Dunn and Taylor Rae Dunn. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Forest Lawn Cemetery with the Rev. Bron Forrester officiating. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel, is handling the arrangements.
