Howard Pittman Obituary
Howard W. Pittman VIRGINIA BEACH - Howard Wayne Pittman, 90, died Dec. 3, 2008. Born in Atlanta, he was the son of the late Dorsey and Nellie Pittman. He retired from the electrical construction business and was an electrical consultant for various local businesses concerns. Mr. Pittman was a member of Francis Asbury United Methodist Church. He had also been a Mason for more than 50 years and a Shriner. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ollie R. Pittman. Surviving are his three daughters, Maria MacDonald and Holly Damalas of Virginia Beach and Sandra Maddern and her husband Richard of Sturtevant, Wis.; two sons, Kenneth Pittman of Virginia Beach and Michael Pittman and his wife Jamie of Chesapeake; brother, William Pittman and his wife Dorothy of St. Petersburg, Fla.; and 13 grandchildren. A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Francis Asbury United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Princess Anne Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel, Friday from 7 to 8 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
