Margaret Grove Obituary


Margaret Grove VIRGINIA BEACH - Margaret Grove, 103, passed away Dec. 3, 2008, in Monroeville, Pa. She was born Aug. 28, 1905, in Crescent, W.Va., to the late Joseph Wagner and Anna Buffa. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Joseph Veneri and Melvin Grove and her son, Valentino Veneri and daughter, Clara Price. Margaret leaves behind to celebrate her life and cherish her memory her daughter, Kathryn Hamilton and her husband John; son, John Veneri and his wife Lois; 14 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great grandchildren. She was a talented cook and was very gifted with her hands. Margaret lovingly crocheted afghans for every member of her family and beautiful tablecloths for others. She was an extremely hard-working woman who was always willing to lend a hand to a friend or family member. Her warm and generous personality was felt by all who knew her and her loving smile was infectious. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:15 to 2:15 p.m. in Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home, with a service to follow at 2:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Serenity, Rosewood Memorial Park.

John and Katheryn, I'm sorry to see the passing of Aunt Margaret. I feel very sad about her leaving us. My condolences. She is now greeting everyone who passed before us up in heaven. God bless her.
