Neal Jones Obituary
Neal D. Jones VIRGINIA BEACH - Neal Dexter Jones of the 1600 block of Old Donation Parkway passed away Dec. 7, 2008, in Sentara Virginia Beach Hospital. He was born in Indianola, Okla., Aug. 28, 1934, the son of the late Wayne Travis and Eunice Jones. Mr. Jones served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and retired with 25 years of service. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Madeline Bowles-Jones. He is survived by three children, Melissa Jones Patheco, Jimmyjohn Jones and Neann Jones Beal of Tecumseh, Okla. Additionally, he is survived by three stepsons, Ricky (Kim), Rodney (Susan) and Reese (Nancy) Bowles of Virginia Beach. A memorial service will be held at Atria Virginia Beach, 1628 Old Donation Parkway, Virginia Beach, at 2 p.m. Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Catchin' for Kids charity in care of Robin Wallace, 229 Oakengate Turn, Virginia Beach, VA 23462.
