Mary Schuman Obituary


Mary Ann Schuman VIRGINIA BEACH - Mary Ann Schuman, 79, passed away Dec. 8, 2008. She was born and raised in Athens, Ga., and attended the University of Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Richard and Mary Gilpin. She was the manager of the Dadson Arms Apartments from 1982 to 1995. Mary Ann, a longtime resident of Virginia Beach, was married to Martin Schuman. She will always be remembered as a wonderful loving wife, mother and grandmother who always had the greatest regard for the needs, considerations and feelings for others. She will be missed by all who knew her. Mary Ann is survived by her husband and her sons, Richard and Mark and wife Deborah; daughters, Darsey and husband Chip Williams and Ruth and husband Lindsey Powell; grandchildren, Travis, Christopher, Rachel, George, Kelly, Marissa, Derick and Brittany; niece, Karen and husband Tom Davis; nephews, Eric and Brett and son Anthony; cousin, Josephine Paine and family in Athens, Ga. Services will be conducted at later date. Condolences may be made online to [email protected]. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Virginia Beach SPCA.
