Donna Arnette Obituary


Donna L. Arnette PORTSMOUTH - Donna Leigh Arnette, 48, of Gary Player Road, died Dec. 11, 2008, in her home. A native of Portsmouth, she was the daughter of the late Roy A. and Frances M. Pegram. Donna had worked at Northrop Grumman, Dept. 33, attended Faith Alive Ministries, and was a Dale Earnhart Jr. and Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Survivors include her husband, Cully "C.J." Arnette; five sisters, Rose Randall and husband Robert of Poplar Branch, N.C., Rita Grime and husband Dan of Grandy, N.C., Deborah Broadley of Chesapeake, Heather Pegram of Portsmouth and Tracy Hart and husband Justin of Portsmouth; stepmother, Catherine Lowe of Virginia Beach; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Kloe. A funeral will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, with Pastor Steve Bellavia officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 6 until 8 p.m. and other times at 223 Widgeon Court, Suffolk (Burnett's Mill).
