Sarah Outland Obituary
Sarah D. Outland SUFFOLK - Sarah Davis Outland, 93, passed away Jan. 15, 2009. She was the daughter of the late, June A. Davis and Maude Futrell Davis and a native of Conway, N.C. She was predeceased by her husband, Leonard Mack Outland Sr., three sons and two great-granddaughters. Sarah was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church, Suffolk, and a member of the Golden Age Sunday School Class. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Betty M. and Earl Bunch of Suffolk; three sons and daughter-in-law, Leonard M. Outland Jr. and Patricia W. Outland of Suffolk, Isaac Gerald Outland of Palm Springs, Calif., and Larry Gene Outland of Vista, Calif.; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Dean Stuart, Lydia Harrell and Madeline Thomas. A funeral will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in Parr Funeral Home, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, with the Rev. Keith Davey and the Rev. Micah Voight officiating. Burial will follow in Holland Cemetery. Friends may join the family today for visitation from 7 to 8 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Missions to Military Inc. International Headquarters, P.O. Box 6, Norfolk, VA 23501. In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
