Timothy Wyatt Smith CHESAPEAKE - Timothy Wyatt Smith, 46, of the 700 block of Sparrow Road, passed away Jan. 17, 2009, in Chesapeake. Born in Norfolk, he was the son of Dorsie Grady and Mary Anne Harrison Smith of South Mills, N.C. He was predeceased by a brother, Michael Dean Smith. Tim was a graduate of Christopher Newport College, a member of Western Branch Baptist Church and had played the trombone in the church orchestra. Besides his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Stephen Smith and wife Denise of Chesapeake and Andrew Smith and wife Michelle, also of South Mills; four nieces, Brittany, Kaity, Gigi and Sarah Smith; and his fiancée, Lela Anne Telford. A celebration of life service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Calvary Temple, 5639 Brickell Road, Norfolk, 23502. The family will receive friends at the church beginning at noon. Memorial contributions to defray Tim's funeral expenses may be made to Stephen Smith, 1308 Winfall Drive, Chesapeake, VA 23322.
