Aunt Patty, Dave, Linda & entire family - I reflect back on childhood times and quietly remember the year Aunt Patty & Uncle Donnie took me for the summer. How excited I was to play "Avon Lady" and then I found out my chores also consisted of making Bob & Dave's beds everyday. *smiles* I will cherish my memories of Bob - in my eyes he was always the "gentle smiling giant". The world doesn't seem as bright now but I know there is another angel in Heaven looking down on all of us. Be at peace with Uncle Donnie Bob, as you will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved you just as Uncle Donnie has.

I'm very sad to hear about Bob's passing. The Burrell family has been very important to me. My experiences with the Chief and Bob and Dave shaped me into the father and man I am today. I promise to bring my kids by to see you Mrs. Patty. We love and will miss you Bob.

Mrs. Burrell,
Bob was in the fire department with me at Davis Corner. I have only the fondest memories of our time there. He was a great mentor to allot of the Jr Squad members, including myself. Because of his inspiration many of us continued on as professional Firefighters, with rewarding careers. He was a great role model for us all. Your family has my deepest sympathy, and will be in my prayers.

With sympathy and love to his mom, we are connected my child and I, by an invisible cord not seen by the eye. It's not like the cord that connects us till birth, this cord can't be seen by any on earth. This cord does its work right from the start it binds us together attached to my heart. I know that it's there though no one can see the invisible cord from my child to me. The strength of this cord is hard to describe it can't be destroyed it can't be denied. It's stronger than any cord man could create it withstands the test can hold any weight. And though you are gone though you're not here with me the cord is still there but no one can see. It pulls at my heart I am bruised...I am sore but this cord is my lifeline as never before. I am thankful that God connects us this way a mother and child, death can't take it away! Not only a beautiful son, but a beautiful nephew. Always in our hearts. Uncle Sonny, Aunt Sandy, Uncle Jim, Aunt Darlene
