Gerd McNeil Obituary

Gerd N. McNeil VIRGINIA BEACH - Gerd N. McNeil departed this life Jan. 13, 2009, after a diligent fight with a debilitating illness. She is survived by her loving husband, Raymond McNeil; son, Fred (Mary) Pacell; daughter-in-law, Wenche Delcane of Pennsylvania; grandson, Drew Pacell; and many other friends and relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rudolph and Anna Nilsen. Gerd had a passion for photography and over the years filled a number of photo albums. Additionally, she had a love for animals and a particular fondness for cats. She was always the astute business person and maintained two hair salons while living in Pennsylvania. She further catered to the needs of many because she loved to cook. A private memorial will be announced by the family at a later date.
