Dr. Bev. Watkins was a great man of God in a humble, servant way. He was mentor to many in Va. in the ministry of the UMC. I have known him since childhood and counted him as friend in adulthood.

Bev was special to all Christians, not just Methodist. His calm and loving leadership was always present for members of a Presbyterians Chapel struggling to become a Church (now the St Andrew Presbyterian Church in Northern Suffolk). Bev was an inspiring servant for our Lord. Also, my golf game was much better when I played with Bev. My sympathies go out to his family.
