Kurt Hall Obituary

Kurt Allen Hall CHESAPEAKE - Kurt Allen Hall, 49, of Chesapeake, passed away Jan. 29, 2009, in Chesapeake Regional Medical Center. A native of Scottsdale, Ariz., he was an airplane mechanic with Northrop-Grumman Corporation. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. He was a soccer coach for the Indian River Recreational League for more than 15 years. He was an avid supporter and photographer for Indian River Middle and High School wrestling teams. He also enjoyed supporting Indian River High School Baseball. He had a strong passion for loving his family, helping others and enjoying life. He is survived by his beloved wife of 25 years, Mary E. Hall; two sons, Damien M. Hall and Kyle J. Hall, both of Chesapeake; and his mother, Myrna R. Hall of Glendale, Ariz. Services for Mr. Hall will be private. The family received friends in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, Saturday from 4 to 6 p.m. The family requests flowers be omitted and memorials be made to the Indian River Recreation Center, Old Greenbrier Road, Chesapeake, VA 23325.
