Eloise Mann Obituary

Eloise Parker Mann PORTSMOUTH - Eloise Parker Mann went to sleep peacefully from the arms of her loving family to the arms of her Lord Jan. 26, 2009, in Bon Secours DePaul Medical Center. Eloise was born Oct. 7, 1956, in Portsmouth to the late James and Gafelia Parker. She was educated in the Portsmouth public school system and graduated from Cradock High School in 1975. She was an alumna of Norfolk State University. She leaves to cherish her memory her three children, Darnell Jr., Saudi Washington (Larry) and Jamal; sisters, Kyle (Floyd) and Alice (James); five grandchildren; and many relatives and friends. A funeral will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in Noble Street Baptist Church, Portsmouth. Interment will be in Roosevelt Memorial Gardens. Professional services entrusted to Corprew Funeral Home, Portsmouth.

THEY SAY THAT GOD HAS A PURPOSE FOR EVERY ONE I WOULD HAVE WISHED FOR MS E'S PURPOSE TO HAVE LASTED LONGER BUT SINCE IT DID NOT I LIKE TO THINK THAT SHE SERVED HER'S AS A MOTHER A FRIEND A WIFE AND EVERY OTHER ASPECT OF HER LIFE BECAUSE I KNOW SHE MADE A DIFFERENCE IN MINE FOR THE BETTER NEVER AFRAID TO BE A TRUE FRIEND SOME ONE WHO TOLD ME THE HONEST TRUTH EVEN WHEN I DID NOT WANT TO HEAR IT TO ME SHE WAS NOT ONLY A DAYCARE PROVIDER OR A AUNT INLAW SHE WAS SOMEONE I COULD TALK TO WHEN NO ONE WOULD LISTEN I AM TRUELY GOING TO MISS HER
