I played softball with Fred in the late 1960s and early 1970s. He has always a leader, a team player and great fun to be with both on the field and off. My thought are with the family and friends.

Fred & I were both Division Managers with Sears on 21st St. in Norfolk back in late '50's & early 60's. I enjoyed Fred's humor & friendship very much. We frequently joined together for lunch or dinner during many days & evenings year around. Fred had many friends with Sears & he made life fun for us all. Many stories of old still cross my mind to this very day. Whenever I think of Fred, recollections of his ability to smile & help others come to mind. I'll remember him with "Hail Mary's." What a guy!

Fred assisted my late husband Walter and I when we bought our condo in Sandie Point. You have my heartfelt sympathy. God Bless you.
