Words cannot express the sorrow I feel for the loss of such a great person. I will always remember the funny stories he told about his young son and the admiration with which he spoke of his family. They were always first to Cam in his heart. My sympathies and prayers go out to your family.

I would like to express my deepest sympathy to Bailey and the rest of Cam's family. I was informed of Cam's passing today and am just shocked beyond belief!! I have known Cam for a little over 10 years....I was "his FedEx Girl". He ALWAYS had a big smile and kind words for me each day when I came in to deliver at Circuit City. Cam and I easily became friends, as we both shared such passion for our jobs and for life. We stayed in contact even after he went to East Coast Appliance, always waving in passing..either on the road or Cam working in the yard or cleaning his boat or vehicles. I pray that God will comfort all our hearts.....Cam was just such a wonderful person and a lovable man...sure do miss your laugh and smile Cam!

I would like to express my condolescenes to the Williford family. I have worked with Cam for the past year..... He was a humorous and fun person to work with. I enjoyed conversing with him. This loss to our company was bought to my attention on Monday morning Feb 2, 2009 which didn't seem to be true. The week before he made a bet with me about finding a material that he needed for work. Of course I won the bet and it was a very funny moment. But that memory will always stay with me as he was a great person. I will definitely keep the family in my prayers.....

February 3, 2009

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

TROY TATE

My name is Troy and I worked with Cam at Circuit City in Roanoke, VA. I was saddened to hear of Cam's passing and wanted to let you know how much I thought of him. Cam was a great friend while we worked together and his success at Circuit City was no suprise. Cam was smart and could accomplish anything he set his mind to. He was well liked by those he worked with and the customers that he served. Cam enjoyed people and all of us appreciated being around him. The hours on the floor certainly seemed a little easier when he was around to joke with. Again, I'm really sorry for your loss and we'll be praying that the Lord will provide some peace during this difficult time.
