Dear Shirley,
Josh was so sweet and friendly. The first time we met, he ran up to me, hugged me, and said, I love you Auntie Jan!" I was astonished and quite happy about that. He was sweet and lovable. I will never forget him.
I am so sorry- I could never say how much.

My Dear Family,
I've only been with you for six years and my blessings for being a part of your family have been abundant. And now, we, as a family, will lift each other up, rely upon each other's strengths, cry, smile, and pray together as we face the remainder of our lives without the physical presence of little Joshua. We will mourn and heal according to our abilities and our faith.
Many years ago, I, too, lost a son. A frend shared a poem with me that helped me through those times when I simply thought I could not go on. I offer it to you now with the hope it will, in time, ease your pain as it did mine.
~~~
Do not stand at my grave and weep;
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I walk by Heavenly Father's side while Angels sing me lullabyes.
And when you miss me there below Stand very still, then you will know
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sun on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
And when your life must surely end
Then I will laugh with you again
Do not stand beside my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.
~~~
God Bless all my loved ones, old and new, especially Joseph.
