Robert Larry Brown VIRGINIA BEACH - Robert Larry Brown crossed over Feb. 14, 2009, after battling a long illness. He was born Aug. 21, 1952, in Millboro, Va. He graduated from Millboro High School. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1972 and retired after 20 years of service. He was an active member of Masonic Temple for 20 years. He was affiliated with Morning Star Lodge No. 3, PHA Truxton No. 34 HRM, Antioch Commandery No. 7 and Arabia Temple No. 12. He was also a member of the Tidewater Youth Golf Association. He was preceded in death by parents, Josephine and Joel Brown and his brother, Kenneth Brown. He leaves to cherish his memory loving wife Deborah; son, Quinnan (Shartory); brothers, Carl (Estella) and Rodney; sisters, Joyce (Vernon), Lucille (Wilbur) and Danette (Vincent); sister-in-law, Paulette Brown and Valerie (Leonard); brother-in-law, Father Samuel "Michael Bell"; grandsons, Quinyan, Caleb, Tyshaun and Demarcus; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home, 601 N. Witchduck Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23462.
