Christian Andersen Obituary

Christian S. Andersen NORFOLK - Christian S. Andersen, 62, of the 2500 block of Shafer St., passed away Feb. 16, 2009, in his home and joins his only love, Phyllis. A Virginia native, he was a supervisor with Commercial Testing and Engineering. He is survived by his daughters, Charlotte "Shawn" Carter and husband William; the daughter of his heart, Tiffany; a son, Christian Andersen and wife Kimberly; his mother, Roselene Andersen; two sisters, Ruthie and Ardie Miller; a brother, Bob Andersen and wife Deborah; grandchildren, Kayla Carter, Marie and A.J.; and three close friends, Jewel, Barry and Ed. A memorial service will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. in Burrows Memorial Baptist Church. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, is handling the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Cancer Treatment Center, 736 Battlefield Blvd., Chesapeake, VA 23320.

Farewell to one of the most awe inspiring men we have ever known. He was the most thoughful and caring person and loved his family unconditionally.He has now found his way to paradise. There Now with his Beloved and looking down on the rest of us, will still find a way to guide us all from above with more love than anyone could ever show.
Chris, Please save a spot for all of us so everyone can be together again.
You will be missed and thought about often. We will continue to pray for you and your family. We love you !

Before I left the company after 16 years, you had fondly nicknamed me "the warden" saying I reminded you of one each time I'd do a walk about through the operations. I returned to the business last May after an 8 year tenure elsewhere and you came to visit me. It was good to see you, my friend.
