Tracy Plummer Obituary

Tracy F. Plummer NORFOLK - Tracy F. "Bell" Plummer, 42, of the 100 block of Haven Drive, passed away Feb. 15, 2009, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. She was born April 2, 1966, to the late Beatrice V. and David L. Bell Sr. in Virginia Beach where she also attended Princess Anne High School. Tracy was a member of New Jerusalem COGIC since 1974 where she was active in the Youth Choir and Junior Usher Board. She was employed with Rite Aid Pharmacy as a pharmacy technician for four years. She leaves to cherish her memory her fiancé, Al Paul; two sisters, Rose Bell and Cynthea Foreman; three brothers, David Bell Jr., Douglas L. Bell and Duane L. Bell; two nieces, four nephews, one grandniece, two special sisters, Karen Broussard and Stephanie Thompson; and a host of other relatives and friends. A funeral will be held at noon Friday in New Jerusalem Church of God in Christ, 118 Erie St., Virginia Beach. Bishop Barnett Thourgood will officiate. Interment will be at Little Piney Grove Church Cemetery. Family and friends will assemble at 171 Haven Drive one hour prior to service for procession to the church. Metropolitan Funeral Service, Granby St. Chapel, is in charge. Condolences may be offered at www.metropolitanfuneralservice.com.

I am sorry to hear the sad news. Tracy had a good heart. She always kept people laughing and enjoying life. I went to Princess Anne High School with Tracy. We were in the NJROTC Program. We had a good group of friends that attended many functions together. I wish her family peace.
