Lois Elaine Brown

Lois Elaine Brown VIRGINIA BEACH - Lois Elaine Brown, 73, passed away Feb. 15, 2009, in her home. A native of Rochester, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Albert and Gertrude Kirby. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 50 years, Elmer James Brown. She was a retired legal secretary and bookkeeper. She is survived by her son, Alan Brown and wife Dianna and two grandchildren, Taylor and Emma Brown, all of Painted Post, N.Y. She is also survived by a sister, Anita M. Brown of Peoria, Ariz.; a brother, James A. Kirby of Redfield, N.Y.; and several nieces and nephews including Janet Brown Weldon of Brownsboro, Ala. All services will be private. The burial will be in White Haven Memorial Park, Rochester, N.Y., at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, is handling the arrangements.
