William Mask Obituary

William B. Mask PORTSMOUTH - William B. "Billy" Mask, 81, passed away at home Feb. 18, 2009, with his loving family by his side. Mr. Mask was preceded in death by his parents, Bruce C. and Ida J. Mask. Also preceding him were his brothers, Daniel and James Mask; a daughter, Delores E. Haynes; and a son, Robert B. Mask. Surviving Mr. Mask are his wife, Ruby H. Mask; his sons, Otis C. Mask and his wife Stacey and James E. Mask; stepdaughter, Denise Bruner and her husband Charles E. Bruner Jr. Also surviving Mr. Mask are his four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Mr. Mask was a veteran serving his country proudly in the U.S. Navy. He retired in 1987 after 42 years of service with NORSHIPCO. A funeral to celebrate Billy's life will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Living Water Church of God, 1300 Jackson Ave., Chesapeake. Burial will follow the service in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the building fund at Living Water Church of God.
