Kay,
I'm sorry Kevin and I can't be with you over this sad time. I know you loved your Dad dearly - he was such a loving and caring person who loved helping everyone. I will always remember the good times, especially our camping trip with Carter's Boy Scout group in Richmond. That was the first time I ever saw anyone eat ketchup on eggs (ick!). Aunt Dottie enjoyed the card games at night with your Dad, Aunt Flossie, Uncle Charles and Aunt Iris. Those were the good old days. God watch over you, especially now, and know that I'm always here if you need to talk.
Carter and Pat,
I am sorry not to be able to get home for your Dad's funeral. I know you were always close to your Dad. He always looked on the bright side of things, and I admired him for that. I will always remember the good times we spent at your house with Mom and Aunt Flossie always cooking something good. I am glad Kevin and I got to see Uncle Harry last July on our trip to Portsmouth. Mom wanted me to bring pictures back so she could see everyone, and I'm glad we were able to spend some time with Uncle Harry and get some nice photos. God bless all of you and know that your dad will always be in your heart.
Love you cuz,

To the family!
How sad to hear of Harry's passing--how wonderful to know that his life was so very long--and I am sure one reason is that he was such a good friend to so many--I remember both Harry & Flossie so well--as they were great CAT friends with my mom and dad--sam and louise jones. They must be rejoicing with the saints today as they all get together to talk about all the fun times they have had and how wonderful the legacy they have left for us all. God Bless you in your sadness and sorrow and may you find peace in knowing how special your Dad was to so many.
