Rene and family: I am truly sorry for your loss. I remember last year at the Relay when we all laughed so hard rolling your mother around in the wheelchair over the hills to the site, your sister almost throwing her out. Your mother had a good time that day! Remember all the good memories and love; that will help you all get thru. Take care, I am here if you need a shoulder. Karen

Joan was so right, the house was always full of people and love, but no matter how many were there or what was going on, the door was always open to welcome one more. Pat was a compassionate and generous person. No matter what problem or concern she was personally dealing with, it was placed on the back burner so she could be ear and console someone else when they seemed heavy-hearted or down in the dumps. Not only am I blessed to have known Pat, but her children as well, who will carry her love and legacy in the days ahead. Though your hearts are aching at the loss of someone who meant so much, find comfort knowing she no longer suffers and is at peace she so deserves. Remember the love and good times, and be thankful to have had her in your lives for as long you as did. She is an angel who has truly earned her wings. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Stay strong and close to each other as she would want. Keep the faith, for faith is not believing God can, it is knowing that He will see you through this difficult time.

I remember a house full of kids and a house full of love. I remember that you never liked it when Shirley and I would stay out too late. Your family will always remember you as their Angel on earth and now you will be their Angel in heaven. May your heart and soul find peace and comfort.

I will never forget how Aunt Pat opened her home to me when I was a child; you could feel her love. I was happy to see her in August 2008; her smile was still apparent. May the Lord be with you and yours during this trying time. She will be missed greatly.

I have many fond memories of Mrs. Stafford while growing up next door. I remember vividly the way she meticulously conducted her yard sales. They were always the event of the neighborhood. She was a wonderful person with a big heart. I know that she will be missed. Please take peace in knowing that each person in your family now has a special guardian angel to watch over them forever. My thoughts and prayers are with you during your time of sorrow.
