Wilhelmena Reed Obituary

Wilhelmena Reed CHESAPEAKE - Wilhelmena "Aunt Mena" Reed, 68, of the 1900 block of Robert Hall Blvd., passed away Feb. 23, 2009. She was a native of Norfolk. She retired from the City of Portsmouth Department Of Social Services as a social worker. She was a member of St. Paul COGIC. She is survived by one daughter, Arlene J. Reed; one son, Anthony L. Reed; four grandchildren, Kaya, Keon, Anthony Jr. and Lauren. A funeral will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in St. Paul COGIC, 1615 Isaac St., Norfolk, with Dr. Wilbert L. Daniels Sr. officating. The family will receive relatives and friends for remembrance and visitation Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. in Beach Funeral Services Inc., 4456 Bonney Road, Virginia Beach. Condolences may be offered online at www.beachfuneralservices.com. Kevin A. Sanderlin, funeral director.
